Resources for Undocumented Students

Financial aid can be tricky for students who are undocumented. If you are undocumented, you usually cannot apply for the FAFSA but you can apply for the CSS profile. Refer to the links below for helpful resources on schools to select, guides for applying to college, and scholarships for students who are undocumented. What makes it even trickier is that each state has different rules on what undocumented students are eligible for, and laws and policies change every year, making it difficult to find information that is truly up-to-date. If you are undocumented, we recommend you meet with your school counselor as they are likely to have the most up-to-date information. If you don’t feel comfortable disclosing your status to your counselor, you can talk to your Yleana mentor or contact us.
